Claudio Roncoli

Claudio Roncoli is born the 19th March 1971 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 2005, he abandoned this occupation and travelled to Peru, Mexico and Europe where he saw sacred art everywhere reminded him of his childhood and his youth as an altar boy. Thus, those have brought him a new inspiration for his artwork.
Claudio Roncoli has an extensive corpus of work that has been progressively developing from his first solo exhibition at Praxis art gallery (2004) up to now. The artist has opted for an iconography linked to the advertising rhetoric of the fifties that he manifests through a mixed technique and involves image digitalization and paint on canvas.
